This is the email I received from Larry Larson, I don’t know if he sent it to everyone.
TJFS Junior Regionals
Here’s an outline of the timetable for open registration for our events here in the Far West Region. We’re keeping with the tradition of open registration occurring three weeks prior to the event. For Sugar Bowl, we changed our previous date due to conflicts with other regions now that we’re on theDriven.net. We’ll have a revised open registration now on Thursday, December 19 at 6:00 p.m. PST. Our apology but it is in our best interests to have the attention of IFSA staff when our event opens.

Tori Simpson, Program Manager & Event Coordinator
We’re totally stoked to announce the addition of Tori who is a native of Truckee and grew up skiing in the basin. She recently graduated Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Recreation Management and an emphasis in Event Planning. Tori will serve in the role that Megan had last season so she’ll be a new face at registration, at the venue and when we celebrate the athletes at awards. Give her a shout as needed at tori@tahoefreeride.org.

Updates for 2019-2020
- As part of the IFSA, Back Protectors are mandatory. Athletes must wear a back protector during any competition run(s). The back protector must be a stand-alone piece of equipment designed to protect users from impact during a fall. Backpacks, vests, avalanche packs, etc. are not considered back protectors.
