Happy Summer Solstice, SquawFree athletes!

As you know, the summer solstice is the longest day of the year and is the official start of summer, but what’s most exciting is the shorter days starting tomorrow draw us ever closer to winter!

Now is the perfect time to start preparing for the upcoming season. There’s only 24 more weeks until the official start of team!
I’m challenging all of you to do 4 core exercises that will make a huge difference in your performance this winter:

  • Sit-ups
  • Push-ups
  • Squats
  • Stretching

I challenge each of you to do these four strength and flexibility activities EVERY DAY for the next 24 weeks,
and every Sunday increase your reps by at least 1, 2 or more, and record on your worksheet, simply mark the stretches with a checkmark if you complete all 10 stretches.
We left 2 bonus rows if you want to add your own exercises.
